Tell Media Announces Rapid Growth with New Office, Senior Leadership, and Financial Milestone

Tell Media Ltd (Tell), the forward thinking technical production company, has marked an exciting period of rapid expansion with a series of key announcements. Today, the company revealed impressive financial growth, the opening of two new global offices, and the strengthening of its senior leadership team.

Since its inception in late 2020, Tell has experienced substantial growth, with a turnover increase of 84% from December 2021 to December 2024. This growth highlights the company’s increasingly strong position within the global sports production industry.

Company Director and Founder, Tom Ellis, shared his excitement about the company’s growth trajectory: “We’re entering an incredibly exciting phase at Tell. The demand for our services and the opportunities we are seeing in the market have accelerated our growth. Strengthening our leadership team and expanding internationally is just the beginning.”

In line with this growth, Tell has expanded its global reach with the opening of a new office in Kuala Lumpur, marking the company’s commitment to servicing the Southeast Asia region.

Ellis continued: “Kuala Lumpur feels like natural home for Tell. The people, the culture, and the business opportunities align perfectly with our vision of delivering extraordinary experiences through cutting-edge technical production.”

Strengthened Leadership Team

To support its growth, Tell has appointed two new Managing Directors and expanded its senior leadership team:

  • Jack Nicklin, who joins in a newly created role as Managing Director based in York, UK. Nicklin brings a wealth of experience from his time at IMG, BBC, Cricket Australia, and Channel 4, as well as his most recent role as Production Executive at World Rugby.
  • Alex Wong will lead Tell’s operations in Southeast Asia, with a base in Kuala Lumpur. Wong is an expert in broadcast and live graphics, having worked with organisations such as the Badminton World Federation, Asian Football Confederation, and the Professional Triathletes Organisation. Wong will be supported by Azman Azmy, a Senior Producer with a background at AE Live and Astro.

Additionally, Emma Peel has been appointed as Head of Brand and Communications. With 18 years of experience in sports communications, Peel’s background includes work with UFC, IMG, LOCOG, UK Athletics, and Women in Sport.

Tell’s growth is a direct result of its continued success in delivering high-profile events.
